L'Once is the musical vision of Mexican composer and multi-instrumentalist Javier Macías-Burdick.
He was drawn to music early on, picking up the drums at just 11. His passion intensified over time, culminating in a Masters Degree in Arranging from the distinguished Berklee College of Music. Along the way, he's woven his expertise into TV ads and short documentaries.
Drawing inspiration from diverse musical giants like Peter Gabriel, Sting, Asia, Camel, Pink Floyd, Luna Sea, Kent and others, Javier's work with L'Once offers a sonic tapestry rich in texture and depth. Is in L'Once where his love for varied musical genres converge. A melodic blend that combines the adventurous spirit of progressive rock, the raw energy of hard rock, the emotional depth of orchestral music, the serene clarity of meditation music, and the genuine heart of world music.
